the Company

Since 1991, Actuarial Strategies has distinguished itself in the actuarial profession and insurance industry as a provider of top-notch product development and core actuarial services. Insurers have come to Actuarial Strategies to help them design innovative market-focused life and annuity products for a variety of applications, as well as for actuarial guidance and assistance.

We've nurtured this business by an intensive combination of actuarial expertise and market savvy. By way of example, through our regulatory practice, we are at the leading edge of industry issues and regulatory changes. Our annuity practice leaders can help companies to address and satisfy key capital issues associated with the new C3-P2 requirements. As another example, we are at the leading edge when it comes to understanding, assessing, and explaining the impact of New York's new AG38 requirements, and more importantly, to help companies manage such lines.

In this context, we maintain an industry leading practice in the area of securitization. Actuarial Strategies designs special programs for direct writers as well as reinsurers. A specialty is our feasibility analysis which enables companies to develop a measured systematic approach to a securitization effort.

We have consistently been known as an innovator in the product development arena.
For example, our TRIP (Total Retirement Income Program) (patent pending) offering is precisely tailored to the needs of financial institutions, brokerage firms, and investment oriented financial planners. TRIP now contains a TRIP Insurance feature, which provides living benefits protections for the first time on an integrated basis (integrating such benefits with the death benefit and Section 7702 of the Internal Revenue Code.) to VUL policies. And now the living benefit design is available with conventional accumulation-oriented VUL contracts.

The simplified issue business segment of Actuarial Strategies addresses simplified issue as a business segment that needs to be carefully managed. Our actuaries are intimately familiar with different market applications, whether direct response, final expense, or financial distribution (stockbrokers, banks, planners), and our actuaries and underwriters recognize that the simplified design affects a whole array of issues, including product design and pricing, application and breadth of simplified issue process, experience reporting, claim and fraud units, legal intervention, and field management.

Beyond product creativity, however, we recognize the need to get products designed and implemented properly and quickly. Our technical and tax specifications, policy forms work, and overall interaction with product development teams have consistently led to timely and successful product execution.
